Why Do We Need Sponsors?
Anyone can participate in Arizona Frontrunners because we don't have any membership requirements and we don't charge dues. Our operating expenses are covered by the money we raise by sponsoring the annual Pride Run, through fundraising events throughout the year, and with contributions of goods, services and funds from our very much appreciated sponsors.
Where Does the Money Go?
Arizona Frontrunners spends to:
- Advertise the group and to have the web site hosted (group members donate their time to develop and maintain the web site).
- Be able to set up exhibitor tables at the Phoenix LGBT Pride and Arizona Rainbows Festival events
- Pay costs associated with participating in running events.
- Make contributions to worthy causes. In previous years, Arizona Frontrunners has made donations to the Pride Scholarship Fund, which provides education scholarships to LGBT students to help them develop intellectual and interpersonal skills necessary to have a positive impact on our LGBT community as well as society at large.
